We planted the seeds at Oktoberfest, months before the winter solstice. We went to the basin & back and returned enough drops until our fields were fecund and moist; when the sacrifice of soldiers, feminine whispers, and poets began the mid-june showers; we tilled the soil, harvested dreams, and instilled royalty – the hope for a better time was inspired by sausages but was only a promise that could have been made unto ourselves.

This EP was conceived by Devon Bate and David Martinez through slow, gruelling, and sweaty musical love making from June 2011 to August 2012. Trumpet on Amy's Overdose: Part I and Stay Strong, For Life, Always by Sam Trowbridge. Special thanks to Teo Zamudio for artwork, and Stephen Cutler for being in the world (and on the EP).
